I come from a large Italian family of entrepreneurs so it was only a matter of time before I took the reins and started my own business.
After graduating from Montclair State University with a major in Hospitality, like any other college graduate, I was unsure of a career path. I found myself in different roles at renowned company's like the Hyatt & Westin Brand, Walt Disney World as well as, AAA Mid-Atlantic.
It wasn’t until my role as Event & Marketing Manager at a local wealth management firm that I discovered my passion for graphic design. There I was held responsible for all creative direction regarding their marketing collateral and planning logistics of all client appreciation events such as wine tastings, financial seminars, golf outings, just to name a few. I enjoyed what I was doing thoroughly and soon found myself back in the classroom to enhance my Graphic & Web Design skills. Since then I entertained freelance projects for small business branding and continue to be successful with creating great results for many small businesses through graphic design concepts.
Soon after, I found myself in that stage of your life when everyone you know is getting married! A family member approached me to design all of her wedding stationery for her very formal wedding. It was my first attempt at an embellished wedding invitation and I must say it came out fabulous. Guests who received the invitation started to recognize my talent as did the the venue where my cousin hosted her reception. Soon after the wedding, the venue asked to see my portfolio and before I knew it, I was one of their preferred stationery vendor. Since then I have established similar relationships with other venues in the central New Jersey and Greater Philadelphia area.
It is no surprise that Cupcake Graphics now specializes in boutique wedding invitations, and day of stationery suites. Seating charts have grown to be one of our best selling items which was the reason for the launch of our online store. New listings are added daily so be sure to check back often.
